We are thrilled to share that the vote to merge First Church Melbourne with St. Mark’s UMC and become One Church has been approved at both churches with an overwhelming majority! 

This vote isn’t about buildings or the past. It’s about mission, transformation, and a bold step into the future God is calling us to. It’s about weaving together the gifts, strengths, and hearts of two congregations into something new and beautiful—something far beyond what we could imagine alone.

We’ve already seen God move through our shared prayers, ministry, and community outreach—like the powerful day when The Church Left the Building. Now, with this vote, we stand on the threshold of something even greater.

 Let us move forward trusting the One who always exceeds our imagination, knowing that God is ahead of us, preparing the way.
